Make & Mend at Be Kind Textiles
A social group for the concious crafter.
Get mending, get making, fight consumerism and meet other local artists & crafters while enjoying a lovely afternoon tea (vegan/gf).
Bring along your current project, a garment that needs mending or some materials to start something new!
Plenty of advice is available if you don’t know where to start or need some hints.
We would love to hear your advice too if you have any to give. We are all about sharing knowledge and connecting over creative pursuits.
Sewing machine, overlocker and most craft supplies are avaliable.
Tickets at the door:
(cash preferred /CC avaliable)
$15- Generous Ticket. This covers your afternoon tea, if you use materials, maintaining the workspace, and allows the studio to continue important work to support other crafters who can't afford to contribute.
$10- Concession Ticket. This covers your afternoon tea & maintaining the workspace if you are unwaged.
$5- I am a little tight this month but would still want to contribute something.
$0- if you cant afford to give cash, please come anyway, this is a space for everyone no matter their circumstances. And if you want to contribute you can offer to wash the tea cups.
